Resolution of disputes

The ODR platform constitutes an access point for consumers and businesses looking for out of court resolution to disputes covered by the aforementioned Regulation. It is an interactive website, providing electronic and free access in all official languages of the EU.

In the event of problems with a purchase agreement or an agreement for the provision of services concluded on the internet, a consumer may take advantage of the website available on www.ec.europa.eu/odr in order to attempt to reach an out of court settlement to a dispute.

  • Pursuant to Article 14 par. 1 of the Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No. 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (Regulation on consumer ODR) (OJ EU L of 2013 No. 165, page 1), Śnieżka ToC Sp. z o.o. hereby provides an electronic link to the ODR platform www.ec.europa.eu/odr
  • Furthermore, pursuant to Article 36 par. 1 of the Trade Inspection Act of 15 December 2000, a consumer is entitled to submit a request to instigate mediation proceedings to a provincial Trade Inspection inspector with the aim of reaching an amicable settlement to a civil-law dispute between a consumer and a business arising from an agreement concluded in this Shop.
  • Furthermore, pursuant to Article 37 of the Trade Inspection Act of 15 December 2000, a consumer is entitled to approach a permanent consumer arbitration court by Provincial Trade Inspection Offices, which adjudicates disputes pertaining to property right arising from product purchase agreements and agreements for the provision of services concluded between consumers and businesses.
  • A consumer is entitled to, amongst others, contact a municipal consumer spokesman or a regional consumer spokesman, Trade Inspection, Office of Competition and Consumer Protection as well as organisations engaged with consumer protection, such as the Consumer Federation.
